LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The cast of 'Vikings: Valhalla' will return one last time to tell the epic tale of beliefs, legacy, and territory.

Co-creator and executive producer Jeb Stuart will bring the historical drama to its conclusion with Season 3, scheduled to premiere on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

The series is set over 100 years after the events of 'Vikings', in England, following a new generation of legendary heroes who clash with native English over conflicting Christian and pagan beliefs.

'Vikings: Valhalla' premiered in 2022 and depicted the St. Brice's Day massacre in 1002. The events in Season 3 will mark the end of the Viking Age with the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066.

While the lead cast members are set to return for Season 3, two new characters will also be joining the cast.

Australian actor Sam Corlett, known for his roles in 'The Dry' and 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina', will reprise his role in 'Vikings: Valhalla' Season 3 as Leif Erikson, the Norse explorer believed as the first European to set foot on continental America.

Corlett underwent rigorous weight training and adhered to a strict diet regimen to prepare for his lead role in the Netflix series.

30-year-old English actor Leo Suter, known for his notable portrayal of Harald Sigurdsson in 'Vikings: Valhalla', will also be returning for Season 3.

Before gaining fame with the Netflix series, Leo Suter appeared in the American romantic fantasy film 'Fallen' (2016) and the romantic war drama film 'I'll Find You' (2019).

Frida Gustavsson as Freydís Eiríksdóttir

Frida Gustavsson, 31, is a Sweden-based actress who began her career as a model in 2008.

She has graced the runways for renowned fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Christian Dior, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, Victoria's Secret, and Versace, among many other luxury brands.

Before gaining acclaim for her role as Freydís Eiríksdóttir in 'Vikings: Valhalla', Frida Gustavsson appeared in the first season of 'The Witcher', portraying Visenna, the mother of protagonist Geralt of Rivia.

Despite Season 3 being the finale, it will introduce a new character called Maniakes, a fearless Byzantine general. German actor and boxer Florian Munteanu has been cast to play Maniakes.

Munteanu is best known for playing the boxer Viktor Drago in 'Creed II' (2018) and 'Creed III' (2023). He also appeared in the superhero films 'Shang-Chi' and 'Legend of the Ten Rings' (2021).

Another new addition to the cast is Goran Višnjić, set to play Erik the Red, father of Leif and Freydís.

Višnjić is a Croatian-American actor known for appearing in the NBC series 'ER' and 'Timeless'.

He played the role of Nikola Tesla in the fourth episode of the twelfth series of 'Doctor Who', released in 2020.

How to stream 'Vikings: Valhalla' Season 3?

'Vikings: Valhalla' Season 2 ended with massive bloodshed at battle but the war to rule Norway has just begun.

In Season 3, heroes will have to travel back to where it all started for one last battle before sailing across the world to find a new Viking home.

'Vikings: Valhalla' Season 3 is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on July 11, 2024, with all the episodes releasing simultaneously.
