'On a Wing and a Prayer' is the story of Doug White and his family as they try everything to survive their perilous flight after the sudden death of their pilot. The film is the true story of a 2009 event when a father was forced to take control of the private plane he and his family were on after the pilot suffered a fatal heart attack
'On a Wing and a Prayer' stars Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham. The script by Brian Egeston follows White's harrowing journey to safely land a plane and rescue his entire family from insurmountable danger after their pilot unexpectedly dies mid-flight. Sean McNamara, known for 'The King's Daughter," 'The Miracle Season' and 'Soul Surfer,' directed the film, which will be released April 7 on Prime Video. Jesse Eden Metcalfe is an American actor and musician. He is known for his portrayal of John Rowland on 'Desperate Housewives.' Metcalfe portrays Kai, who is an experienced pilot and tries to help Doug land the plane.
