Who stars in 'Class of '09'? Meet the cast of FX on Hulu's thriller miniseries
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: FX on Hulu's upcoming thriller series, 'Class of '09,' will follow the story of FBI agents over 30 years as they are recruited, trained and rise through the ranks as agents. The miniseries will also examine the gravity of being an FBI agent, particularly when major variables of the justice system and a changing society are altered.
Tom Rob Smith is the show's creator and executive producer. Nina Jacobson, Brand Simpson, Joe Robert Cole, Zanne Devine and Sunu Gonera join him as executive producers. Nellie Reed and Albert T Dickerson III are the show's producers, and the show is produced by FX Productions. Gonera has directed the pilot episode of the limited series as well. Brian Tyree Henry as Agent Tayo Miller
Brian Tyree Henry plays Agent Tayo Miller in ‘Class of ‘09’. He rose to prominence for his role as Alfred "Paper Boi" Miles in the FX comedy-drama series ‘Atlanta’, for which he received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He recently starred in the action comedy ‘Bullet Train’, the 2021 MCU movie ‘Eternals’ and the Apple original drama film ‘Causeway’, which earned him an Oscar nomination.
Kate Mara as Agent Amy Poet
On 'Class of '09,' Mara plays Agent Amy Poet, who hadn't anticipated joining the world of law enforcement and finding herself at the center of an extremely pivotal moment of transformation. She is well-known for her roles on TV, including Zoe Barnes in Netflix's 'House of Cards,' Shari Rothenberg in Fox's '24' and Hayden McClaine in FX's miniseries 'American Horror Story: Murder House' among others.
Raul Castillo as Amos
Castillo will play Amos on Hulu's thriller series 'Class of '09' and is recognized for his roles in 'Amexicano', 'Cold Weather', 'Looking' and its series finale TV movie 'Looking: The Movie'. Castillo will also appear in upcoming projects such as 'Breathe', 'Open House' and 'Cold Wallet'.
Jake McDorman as Murphy
McDorman, who recently appeared on Hulu's 'Dopesick,' will play Murphy in the limited series 'Class of '09'. He is currently co-starring in Peacock's 'AI' and 'Mrs Davis'. He also appeared as Nelson Gardner in the critically acclaimed 'Watchmen' episode 'The Extraordinary Being.' 'Spring Bloom' will also feature McDorman.
'Class of '09' also comprises Sepideh Moafi as Hour, Brian J Smith as Lennix, Jon Jon Briones as Gabriel, Brooke Smith as Drew, Rosalind Eleazar as Vivienne, and Briar Boggs as Henry Lee etc.
When will ‘Class of ‘09’ release and how to watch it?
'Class of '09' will compris eight 60-minute episodes and will air on FX on Hulu on May 10. The first two episodes will be released together on the premiere date, with the rest of the episodes releasing every Wednesday.
