'As the Crow Flies' Season 3: Cast and Character Guide on who's playing who in Netflix's drama series

After two prolific seasons, 'As the Crow Flies' Season 3 is set to hit Netflix on April 11, 2024

The series, which is directed by Deniz Yorulmazer, and Koray Kerimoglu, is scheduled to premiere on the streaming service on April 11, 2024.

The series narrates the exploits of a fan who gains access to the newsroom of an accomplished anchor and is forced to confront the negative repercussions of ambition.

Prominent Turkish actress Birce Akalay portrays the ambitious news anchor Lale Kiran in the series.

Akalay, a native of Istanbul who reached the final round of the Miss Turkey competition, subsequently appeared on Turkish national television as a sports presenter.

She later transitioned into modeling and established herself as a fashion icon before making her film debut with 'Kader' in 2007.

Her other notable works include 'Little Lord', 'Price of Passion,' 'Nefes: Vatan Sagolsun,' 'Küçük Aga,' 'Colour of Victory,' and others.

Miray Daner as Asli Tuna

The series features Miray Daner as the strong-willed fan Asli Tuna, who unintentionally becomes caught in the world of journalism and its complications.

Daner, who started her career at nine years old, landed her first starring role in 'Duygu' at the age of thirteen.

In addition, she has performed in advertisements and stage plays.

She received the Pantene Golden Butterfly Award in 2017 and gained prominent recognition for her role in 'Bir Litre Gözyasi'.

Her other notable performances include 'Wounded Love', 'Life,' and 'Boundless Love,' among others.

Ibrahim Celikkol as Kenan Sezgin

Ibrahim Celikkol, a gifted Turkish actor who has made a name for himself in television, movies, and modeling, brings life to the role of Kenan Sezgin. Prior to acting, Celikkol played basketball.

The actor demonstrated his athletic ability by playing for the Turkey national under-20 basketball team.

Despite his promising career in basketball, the actor quickly transitioned into modeling before eventually transitioning into acting.

Following his fortunate meeting with well-known Turkish film producer Osman Sınav, he made his acting debut in Camdan Pabuçlar.

Irem Sak as Müge Türkmen

Irem Sak, who portrays Müge Türkmen in the drama series, was born in Sivas on February 9, 1986.

Sak is of Circassian heritage and a graduate of Istanbul University's American Culture and Literature program.

In the early years of her career, she appeared in theatre productions, and in 2008, she joined BKM Theatre and started to appear in commercials.

She made her screen debut with 'Şen Yuva' in 2010 and appeared in '5'er beser' in 2011.

Burak Yamantürk as Selim Kiran

Burak Yamantürk, who portrays Selim Kiran, is a renowned actor in Turkey's entertainment business.

Born in İzmit, Turkey, in 1983, the actor studied submarine technology but later pursued a career in acting.

At the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, Yamantürk studied acting. He made his acting debut in 2010 with 'Ayhan Hanım' and has since appeared in a variety of projects.

His previous acting performances include, 'Yasak,' 'Hayat Yolunda,' 'Veda,' and  'Elbet Bir Gün', among others.

Demircan Kacel as Yusuf Tunca

Demircan Kacel portrays Yusuf Tunca in the series. The actor, who was born on September 13, 1999, in Istanbul, is gradually carving out a career for himself owing to his diverse acting abilities.

In 2019, Kacel made his acting debut with 'Tek Yürek'.

His other major work credits include 'Kiralik Baba,' 'Three Sisters,' 'Bir Tatli Huzur,' 'Yalancilar Ve Mumlari,' and others.

Defne Kayalar as Gül 

Defne Kayalar, who portrays Gül in the drama series, is best recognized globally for her performance in Netflix's 'Ethos.'

Kayalar, who was born on May 7, 1975, graduated from the Graphics Department at Bilkent University in Ankara.

In 1999, she made her acting debut in the film 'Mrs. Salkım's Diamonds'.

Her acting resume boasts of 'Yazı Tura,' 'Eve Düşen Yıldırım,' 'Bu Şehir Arkandan Gelecek' and 'Menajerimi Ara' among others.
