LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix is all set to breathe life into Holly Jackson's best-selling novel with the same title as that of the television show, 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder', on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

Created by Poppy Cogan, the plot of the show follows Pip Fitz-Amobi (Emma Myers), who, under the guise of a school project, delves into a five-year-old cold case in which a popular student, Andie Bell (India Lillie Davies), was murdered, and her boyfriend, Sal Singh (Rahul Pattni), was discovered dead by suicide.

With the aid of Sal's younger brother, Ravi (Zain Iqbal), she uncovers a labyrinth of secrets and deceptions that might endanger her own life.

Iqbal is from Manchester, UK, and studied acting at the Royal Exchange Theatre.

He made his debut in 'All Crazy Random' in 2022 and starred in 'Why Me?' in 2019.

Asha Banks as Cara Ward

Asha Banks is all set to bring Cara Ward to life on the show.

Asha, an English actress and singer, was born on November 26, 2003, in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

She made her television debut in 2011 with appearances on 'Eastenders' and 'Call the Midwife'.

At the age of seven or eight, she made her West End debut as little Éponine in 'Les Misérables'.

In 2015, she toured the UK as Duffy in 'Annie' and then portrayed Violet Beauregarde in the West End version of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' until it closed in 2017. 

Raiko Gohara as Zach Chen

Raiko Gohara will bring Zach Chen to life in the show.

Although there is little information available about his role, it is reasonable to assume that he will play a significant role based on the show's first look.

Gohara's first formal screen appearance came in 2016's 'Get Lost'.
