Who is St Luna? 'Alter Ego' fans slam judges for picking her over Neveah King

Alongside vocals and musical skills, looks too play a pretty prominent role in helping an aspiring singer's career take off. Sarah Isen, 21, realized this pretty early on. Although she loves singing she admitted that performing on-stage in front of a huge audience is her least favorite part. Luckily for Sarah Fox's new singing competition show 'Alter Ego' is the answer to all her prayers.

On the show, Sarah can happily perform in front of a live audience while hiding behind a futuristic avatar. The judges and audience can only see her virtual avatar which she designed with the help of a team of designers and programmers and enjoy her music without knowing anything about her physical appearance. She named her avatar St. Luna and performed a beautiful Amy Winehouse song that left everybody speechless. The judges- Alanis Morissette, Nick Lachey, Will.I. AM., and Grimes couldn't stop raving about her vocals after watching her amazing performance. But the judges also had a tough decision to make, will St Luna usurp Nevaeh King's place on the diamond to proceed to the next round. All the judges aside from Will.I.Am felt that St. Luna was better than Nevaeh and gave her a place on the diamond.

When fans saw that Neveah had been replaced by St Luna, they were furious and began slamming the judges. A fan tweeted, "Although good, St Luna was the least impressive. This is exactly why I don't watch these type of shows. The judges do not have a clue. Won't watch this show anymore. #AlterEgoFOX." Another fan wrote, "St Luna was in no way even close to Nevaeh. Wth is wrong with the judges!? Will-I-Am got it right #AlterEgoFOX." "I don't get this show. Saint Luna was not nearly as good as Neveah. #AlterEgoFOX," seconded a fan.

The audience voted for Nevaeh and saved her from elimination. This means both St Luna and Nevaeh will be proceeding to the next round. While we eagerly wait for these talented singers to perform once again, read on to know all about St Luna.

Who is St Luna on 'Alter Ego'?

If Sarah aka St Luna looked familiar to you then you wouldn't be wrong, as the 21-year-old Berkley resident previously appeared on Season 18 of 'American Idol'. Her journey on the show was cut short after she was sent home by the judges during the Hollywood Week. But she is back on 'Alter Ego' ready to showcase her talent to the world once again.

In her introduction segment, Sarah revealed that ever since she was a little girl people always mistook her to be someone older due to her body and that led to Sarah developing an unhealthy relationship with her body. This made her very conscious about her looks and appearance which in turn affected her performances. So she created her alter ego St Luna, so that she could perform freely without feeling conscious about people looking at her and instead focus just on music. We can't wait to see more of St Luna's journey on the FOX show.
