Contains spoilers and speculations for 'The Boys' Season 4

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Boys' Season 4 is now airing weekly on Amazon Prime Video, delivering its usual mix of humor, violence, and sharp social critique. Queen Maeve has retired from heroics, and Soldier Boy has left town.

Joining The Seven are two new Supes: Sister Sage and Firecracker.

But what about Black Noir? Despite seeming to die at the end of Season 3, the silent Supe is mysteriously still part of the team.

Did he survive Homelander's attack, or is someone else now behind the mask? And if so, who's playing Black Noir this time?

Let's break down the latest on Black Noir and all the new developments below.

In 'The Boys' Season 3 Episode 8, Homelander brutally disemboweled the original Black Noir after discovering Noir's knowledge about Soldier Boy being Homelander's father.

This shocking moment left many fans reeling, especially since we had just learned more about Noir's past, including his mute persona and masked appearance.

The sudden and somewhat anticlimactic death of such a significant character left fans hoping for a possible return. Surprisingly, in Season 4, it seems Black Noir has made a casual comeback, defying all expectations set by his supposed death.

Who is the new Black Noir in 'The Boys' Season 4?

In 'The Boys' Season 4, the arrival of the new Black Noir is truly baffling. He suddenly appears in The Seven's boardroom during Episode 1, acting as if he never died.

The Deep greets him warmly, but Homelander seems uneasy. Later, in Vought's Meet and Greet room, Noir and two other Seven members follow Homelander's brutal orders, which shocks Noir himself.

It's the first time we hear him speak, aside from a flashback involving Soldier Boy. This adds to the mystery surrounding Noir's return.

The mystery clears up in Episode 2 when Noir confronts A-Train on a movie set. He confesses that playing Noir has been challenging, especially after recent events. This confirms he's not the original Supe but an actor hired by Vought to cover up Homelander's crime.

Nathan Mitchell, who played Noir in earlier seasons, is credited in early episodes, leading fans to speculate if he was the one who returned for the same role. This speculation was confirmed in Episode 6 titled, 'Dirty Business,' when the new Noir recklessly removes his mask in The Seven's boardroom, shocking his teammates.

While this could be a joke or a way to keep Mitchell involved, questions remain about why Vought didn't announce Noir's death as they did with other Supes. The mystery continues, and we'll keep you updated on any developments.
