SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES: Viewers of 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 are in for a treat as they will be introduced to a wide array of incredibly talented contestants this season. The latest season showcases participants from diverse backgrounds who have taken the stage with their remarkable abilities, aiming to captivate both the audience and the esteemed panel of judges which includes Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel.

Who is Thomas Vu?

Thomas, currently residing in Sherman Oaks, California, but originally from Placentia, is a skilled stunt professional known for executing his work safely and effectively with style. He attended Valencia High School and later obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in film from California State University Long Beach.

Thomas has dedicated himself to mastering various aspects of stuntwork, including martial arts, fight choreography, acrobatics, wire work, high falls, fire burns, stunt driving, and stunt rigging. His expertise extends beyond stunts, as he possesses proficiency in different forms of art and movement, such as comedic acting, dramatic acting, hip hop, breakdance, popping, locking, ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and modern dance styles, as stated on his website.

Currently, Thomas is involved in stunts at Kazarian Measures Ruskin and Associates. He has previously worked as a stuntman at SAG-AFTRA and Universal Pictures and as a dancer at McDonald Selznick Associates. Additionally, he has gained experience working at Universal Studios Hollywood and The Walt Disney Company.

Thomas Vu worked as stunt double for several actors

Thomas gained widespread recognition through his controversial yet captivating Rubik's Cube Fire Burn act on 'Britain's Got Talent'. However, his involvement behind the scenes in the entertainment industry extends far beyond that. He recently made an appearance as the stunt double for lead actor Raymond Lee on NBC's 'Quantum Leap'. In addition, Thomas served as the key stunt rigger for season 2 of the Disney+ TV show 'The Santa Clauses'. He has also showcased his skills as a stunt driver on ABC's 'The Rookie: Feds'.

Moreover, Thomas took on the role of stunt coordinator for an episode in season 2 of HBO's show 'Hacks'. Notably, he contributed his stunts to the Marvel movie 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings'. Recently, the talented stuntman expressed his excitement about the upcoming episode of the NBC show by taking to his social media.
