The tension is at an all-time high on 'The Traitors' Season 4 as the identity of the Secret Traitor has been revealed. The latest season debuted with its first three episodes on Peacock on Thursday, January 8 and from the get-go, the clash between the Innocents and the Traitors, has been intensifying, with the Traitors even successfully banishing Porsha Williams. However, it's the reveal of the Secret Traitor that's grabbing major headlines, and we can see why.
The Secret Traitor in discussion is none other than Donna Kelce, who was eliminated in Episode 3, as per Entertainment Weekly. After her vote out, she revealed, "I know I'm the sacrificial lamb, and I know that I had a blast meeting every single one of you...you got yourself a Traitor!" Kelce also described her strategy, sharing, "To be this sweet mom on the side, and then at night be this devious Traitor that is going to be murdering people." After leaving the game, she said through tears, "Playing a Traitor was tough, but I gave it my best shot. This has been a dream come true," as per People.
Talking about the other three Traitors, host Alan Cumming announced the start of the game, saying, "Players, I hope you paid attention because my first Traitor has been chosen… Who here can you trust?" At the roundtable, the three Traitors, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Lisa Rinna, and Rob Rausch, were chosen while blindfolded. Bassett celebrated her selection, saying, "I felt like I won Miss United States. The game is called The Traitors; it's not called The Faithfuls. The game is about the main characters, and I am obviously a main character."
Rinna and Rausch also expressed excitement about their new roles as Traitors. Rinna said, "This feels really right… I wish I could call my husband [Harry Hamlin] to tell him." Rausch added, "I think I'll make a good Traitor. I'm hard to read… I've been told that by every girl I've ever dated, and I'm extremely competitive. I like to win." That night, the three Traitors took their oaths, received their cloaks, and met in secret, while Cummings gave the Secret Traitor, Kelce, a special cloak, instructing them to "try to stay in the shadows."
If you're unfamiliar with the show, 'The Traitors' has contestants collaborate over the course of the season on various tough missions to build a prize pool that could total up to $250,000. However, hidden among the group of Faithful players are the Traitors, whose secret goal is to eliminate the Faithful one by one during the night without being detected. Each night, the Traitors choose their targets in secret, while the remaining Faithful players try to deduce who the Traitors are and vote to banish them from the game. The stakes are high as if the Faithful manage to identify and eliminate all the Traitors, they get to split the prize money. But if even a single Traitor survives until the end, they walk away with the entire prize.
