PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: If Anna DeGuzman had won 'America's Got Talent' this week, she would have been the first woman to do so. She had the chance to become the first woman in the show's 18 seasons to win the top prize with a magic act but that didn't happen and viewers are furious.

It was the ultimate fantasy of magician Anna and her chance to create history. She advanced to the finale on 'AGT' but finished as runner-up, losing to Adrian Stoica and his dog Hurricane.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, viewers shared their well wishes for Anna as one wrote, "Anna will have a show in Vegas regardless. I'm happy."

While another said, "Anna Deguzman should have won." One social media user wrote, "@agt got it wrong Putri Ariani should have Been in the top 2 I’m sorry hurricane should’ve been top three Anna Deguzman sound have won over hurricane."

Where is 'AGT' Season 18 runner-up Anna DeGuzman from?

Anna was born in the Philippines but is now a resident of New Jersey. She participated in the MTV show 'Amazingness' in 2018.

In addition, she starred as herself in the short film "Anna D" and as June Barcelona in the short film 'Break' in 2018. She also made an appearance on an episode of Steve Harvey's show named 'Steve' in 2018. She competed on an episode of 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us's sixth season in 2019, however, she was unable to trick the duo.

Furthermore, she participated in the tenth season of 'Australia's Got Talent' in 2022, where she was eliminated during the selection process.

Season 18 of 'AGT' began with fifty-five brilliant hopefuls competing for a chance to impress the star-studded panel of judges, which included Sofia, Heidi, Simon, and Howie. Anna DeGuzman

At her audition, the 25-year-old Filipina magician wowed the judges with her mesmerizing card skills. She went on to become the first female magician to advance to the 'AGT's live show rounds.

Ramadhani Brothers

With their jaw-dropping acrobatic tryout, the Tanzanian brothers astounded the judges. Fadhili and Ibrahim specialize in head-balancing, with Fadhili balancing on top of his brother's head (and nothing else).

Putri Ariani

The 17-year-old singer-songwriter made an impression during her audition when she sat down at the piano and sang an original song. She not only wowed the judges with her singing, but she also received Simon's Golden Buzzer.

Murmuration

The 64-person French dance ensemble first impressed spectators with their breathtaking audition, in which they performed synchronized hand-based choreography while blindfolded. Judge Howie pressed his Golden Buzzer, finding the performance "hypnotic."

Will there be 'AGT' Season 19?

The eighteenth season of 'AGT' is about to wrap up, and it appears that a new season has been announced as the auditions are already open. Potential competitors can sign up for a virtual or video audition on the official 'AGT' auditions website.
