'Beef' is created by Lee Sung Jin and stars 'The Walking Dead' fame Steven Yeun and Ali Wong.
The official logline of 'Beef' reads, "BEEF follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers. Danny Cho (Steven Yeun), a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder, goes head-to-head with Amy Lau (Ali Wong), a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life. The increasing stakes of their feud unravel their lives and relationships in this darkly comedic and deeply moving series." Who is Joana Pak?
Joana Pak is the love of Steven Yeun's life. Pak tends to keep the most intimate details about her life private. Although a few crucial details regarding her life can be found. Pak has a sister named Kayce Pak. Pak did her studies at Columbia College. It is during this time that Yeun worked as a bartender and was with the Second City comedy theatre in 2009. Yeun noted that meeting Pak was destiny. Pak is currently a professional photographer who owns a freelance photography company called Jo Pakka Photography. Some of her works can be seen on her Flickr account, where pictures that she took of her husband can also be seen. Pak also loves to capture nature as is evident on her website. Other than that, her personal life is zipped away from the spotlight.
Yeon uses his Instagram handle for promoting his work and Pak has only posted a picture of a rainbow on her Instagram account. The only interaction the couple has with the public is at the awards and events where Pak appears to show support for her husband.
A beautiful love story
Though the pair properly met at a bar in Chicago in 2009, the couple had seen each other in passing previously. And at that time, Pak was dating someone else. But fate had a wonderful plan to bring them together in time. After their proper introduction, the couple continued to hang out for the following six months. And when Yeun got the part in 'The Walking Dead', he had to move to Los Angeles to work. But this was just a slight bump in their fate as they kept the romance intact by doing a long-distance relationship.
Yeon proposed to Pak in August 2015 and the couple made it official in December 2016. The wedding was an intimate ceremony with 220 guests that took place in California. And their wedding celebrated both the Korean and American heritages of the couple.
Yeun and Pak got to the next step of their loving relationship in 2017, when the couple became the proud parents of their son, Jude Malcolm. Jude was born on St Patrick's Day. They again welcomed a second little angel, a daughter in April 2019. The name of the daughter is yet to be revealed in public. The happy family is currently residing in Los Angeles, California.
Though the lovely couple tends to keep their personal life private, it is evident that the couple is still in a loving and strong relationship of a lifetime.
