Who is Serena Chew? Meet 'The Bachelor' contestant who believes there's no such thing as being too overdressed
Serena Chew is one of the contenders for Season 25's leading man, Matt James's heart, as seen on 'The Bachelor'. With ABC casting the franchise's first Black Bachelor, they decided to not stop at that and went ahead to cast a diverse group of women from varied ethnicities, in an attempt to thwart the complaints that audiences have had from the show all this while. Job
This 24-year-old San Jose resident is a flight attendant by profession and is employed by American Airlines. She graduated from the San Jose State University and hold a Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in the public health domain. The road to becoming a highflying attendant has been laced with a number of other jobs preparing her for this current role. She's worked in customer service since the very beginning of her career, her first job being a sales associate for Hollister Co. that was more about back-end operations but her next job was of a hostess server at Sushi Confidential. Her duties were to welcome and greet all customers, help see if the tables are ready for them before they settle down for their meal as well as attend to her customers needs and requests.
She then took a course in Germany, a summer program to understand the culture of Berlin and know its rich history and learn about the methods they were adopting to head toward a sustainable world. This was between June-July 2017. Serena C then worked as an administrative assistant and a personal assistant next, quitting her role as the latter in 2019 to then pursue her career as a flight attendant, according to her LinkedIn page.
Jetsetting life
Even though there are just 165 posts up on her feed, a majority of them give people the idea that Serena C loves to travel to places. From posing with a payphone in London, capturing Bastille Day celebrations, posting from when she was at the Eiffel tower or just gallivanting across America and capturing its raw beauty, Serena C has done it all and looks damn good while doing so.
Love for fashion
Her Instagram bio has the line "There's no such thing as being too overdressed" that should be all the information needed to understand how much she loves fashion. A Women's Health report also states that she takes her love for clothing and style very seriously and runs a (now private) fashion blog called serenaissance.org, which is reportedly inspired by renaissance style.

Serena C loves adventure and is always up for a good time. She is looking for someone with charisma, good character and someone with whom she can have a strong physical connection.
