Who is 'Love Island' star Scott van-der-Sluis?
Scott van-der-Sluis is a 22-year-old footballer who hails from Connah's Quay in north Wales. Scott plays for the Irish Premier Division club Shelbourne.
Scott was a goalkeeper for Shelbourne Football Club, however, he has taken a break from his sporting career to appear on 'Love Island'. Football has been Scott's main career goal since he began playing when he was just 16.
Scott has often been busy pursuing his aspirations but now he feels this is the right time for him to find love.
Notably, he doesn't fall in love easily and would get the ick immediately if the girl he fancies got too 'clingy'.
Scott has more than 290k Instagram followers and he often posts snaps playing football and with his mother. Scott previously appeared in 'Love Island UK' Season 10.

Scott van-der-Sluis invites Kassy Castillo for a secret date in 'Love Island USA' Season 5
After his stirring appearance on the UK version of the show, Scott is all set to raise the temperature of the 'Love Island USA' Season 5 villa.
Scott invited islander Kassy Castillo for a secret date in the latest episode of the Peacock Show.
Islander Kassy received a text telling her to go and meet the mystery new bombshell outside the villa. Kassy read out a text that noted, "Kassy, come and meet me at the front of the villa for a secret date, don't tell anyone."
However, Scott was then seen doing the classic slow-motion walk into the villa.
His voiceover said, "I'm Scott, and I'm from Wales in the UK. I was in Love Island UK, I didn't find love, so I thought why not take it international."
Notably, it didn't take must time for Kassy to recognise Scott, having watched the UK version of the show. The islander covered her mouth in shock and exclaimed, "Wait, stop. You're from the UK one?"
