Who is Sam Brock? ‘Today’ hosts Savannah Guthrie and Carson Daly mock NBC correspondent's outfit in hilarious on-air moment
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ show is incomplete without their hosts taking a playful jab at each other and mocking their co-hosts on live TV. Recently, the morning show hosts Savannah Guthrie and Carson Daly had fun as they brutally mocked NBC’s wildlife correspondent, Sam Brock on-air during a wildlife segment.
On Monday, July 31 ‘Today’ broadcast, Guthrie, Daly, Al Roker, Craig Melvin, and Hoda Kotb hosted the wildlife segment as they called on correspondent Sam Brock from Key Largo, Florida to talk about endangered American crocodiles and efforts to save them. While Guthrie recently returned to the morning show last week dotting in a new hairstyle and a sparkling outfit, she didn’t wait to have fun with co-hosts. Guthrie brought on some new look to herself as she wore her hair in a twisted bun, flowing some tendrils around her face, and attired in a sequined green skirt, bringing a refreshing look for ‘Today’ viewers.

Savannah Guthrie and Carson Daly’s playful jab
During a recent ‘Today’ episode, the morning show hosts Roker, Kotb, Guthrie, Daly, and Melvin sat together on New York Studio’s couch as they began the wildlife segment. The anchors welcomed wildlife correspondent Brock who hosted the segment. Towards the conclusion of the segment, Brock was seen sporting a mesh hoodie layered over his collared shirt. He mentioned his curiosity about the whereabouts of a mother crocodile during the segment. As he wrapped up, Brock passed the conversation back to the anchors, and Guthrie playfully couldn't resist making a quick remark. She said, “Maybe the mom was afraid of that mesh outfit you're wearing”, to which Brock replied, “I hope not." Daly chimed in adding, “Madonna wore that in the ‘Borderline’ video”, However, it seemed co-anchors was quite taken aback by his remark as he insisted, “It’s true” as Guthrie acknowledges, “I know, I knew I recognized that." The segment ended with a burst of laughter among ‘Today’ hosts and Brock.
