UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: Ruby Leigh is declared the runner-up of 'The Voice' Season 24. However, fans believe the 16-year-old deserved to win the show as they were convinced she had a better voice than Huntley.
While some theorized that Ruby would have won had she been in Team Niall, a few others claimed that NBC wanted to declare a less famous singer the winner of the show.
Whatever the reason may be, fans have been flooding the internet slamming the show for being "rigged" after Ruby came second. It is yet to be seen whether Ruby will be given new opportunities by any of the coaches in the future.
Seeing Ruby become runner-up, a fan wrote, "Nah, if Ruby was on Team Niall she would’ve won. S**t was rigged from the start. They wanted him to go back to back since Blake is gone. Ruby was clear cut better. Huntley will join every other voice winner in obscurity within a year I am sick man!!!"
