Who is Renni Rucci?

Born Courtney Rene on October 2, 1991, in Irmo, South Carolina, Renni Rucci's father is Irish, while her mother is African-American. She began her career as an exotic dancer and performed at strip clubs. She eventually transitioned into modeling and worked under a Columbia-based modeling agency.

With a growing following on Instagram, she eventually decided to pursue music. Her initial music was remixes of popular songs; however, her 2017 single titled 'Roll in Peace' was a massive success, garnering over 2.5 million streams. In a conversation with XXL, she spoke about the music she grew up listening to and how it inspired her.

"A lot of OutKast [and] oldies. Not a lot of rap music until I got a little older, cause my mom is really into juke joint music, Otis Redding, stuff like that. She loved Eve—she cut her hair blonde and everything. When I started listening to what I wanted to, of course [it was] Lil Wayne," she said.

"I'm a big Lil Wayne fan. I love André 3000. Eve by default. She was really the first female rapper I really paid attention to. Eve was talking really rough. I'm not saying nobody before her did that; I'm just saying that was really the first time I paid attention to it," she explained.

Who is Rucci dating?

Rucci is in a relationship with rapper Foogiano. Born Kwame Khalil Brown, Foogiano is an artist who is signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 Records. He is currently serving a 5-year prison sentence due to previous charges. He's had multiple run-ins with the law -- in 2013, he was arrested on burglary and robbery charges and served a 3-year sentence.

In 2020, he was named in a wrongful death lawsuit regarding a shooting in which two people died. That same year, he was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Apart from a $50,000 bail, he was required to wear an ankle monitor and not leave the state of Georgia. He burned off his monitor, which resulted in a warrant for his arrest. He was on the run for three months, before he was arrested.

In a conversation with Hot New Hip Hop, Rucci revealed that she DM-ed him first, but it was with the intention to collaborate. After she did, he replied to her, which set the ball rolling. "[Foogiano] hit me, he's like, 'You don't have to have nobody reach out to me,' and we just started talking from there and we never stopped. We went from talking in the DM's about a studio session to being on the phone every day," she said.

Renni Rucci net worth

As reported by Exact Net Worth, Rucci is currently worth $600,000. With her music career taking off and her now being a part of 'LHHATL', there's a good chance that this number will keep growing.
