LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Player 302, also known as LeAnn Wilcox, used to work for The New York Times. She had a pretty important job as the editor for the weddings section until May 2021.

LeAnn dedicated more than 32 years of her life to The Times. Before that, she spent five years as a sports reporter and editor for The Kansas City Star.

Aside from being a dedicated professional, LeAnn is also a mom. She and her husband have three kids, two daughters and a son.

It's like she had a whole different life before diving into the challenges of 'Squid Game: The Challenge,' adding an interesting layer to her character in the show.

In the fourth episode of 'Squid Game: The Challenge,' Lorenzo faced elimination after a vote led by Leann.

Each player could cast a vote for who they wanted to kick out, and the top three with the most votes were on the chopping block. Lorenzo was pretty confident he had no issues with anyone, thinking he'd be safe from the votes. However, Leann surprised him by casting her vote for him.

In her confession, Leann explained that she was voting for anyone who was rude or impolite to her. Lorenzo's refusal to eat her apples became the reason she sought revenge by voting him out.

Other players followed suit, and unfortunately, Player 161, aka Lorenzo, got eliminated.

As he left, Lorenzo pointed the blame at Leann for his exit. "There are snakes everywhere in Squid Game. You can't trust anyone I'm telling you," he said.

Lorenzo worked as an equity asset manager

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, Lorenzo was deep in the world of private equity as an asset manager.

In 'Squid Game: The Challenge', he shared how he firmly believed that this was the path he was meant to take.

However, everything took a sharp turn when the world came to a halt due to the major health crisis.

Lorenzo expressed that after the pandemic, his dream felt completely shattered. In his own words from the show, "Do what you want. Like, this is your only chance. And this, all of this, everything is gonna be gone."

No one sent home after the ‘Ddakji’ challenge

Game 4 in 'Squid Game: The Challenge' may not be an official one involving all the contestants, but it's still worth talking about.

It's called Ddakji, the same game the salesman in Squid Game used to recruit players with. In this version, nobody gets sent home; instead, the winner gets a candy bar.

The game kicks off when players 232 and 243 head into the kitchen area and discover two Ddakji cards. Player 232 takes the time to teach 243 how to play, and it turns out, 232 is pretty good at the game.

After a short while, an announcement is made that 243 has lost, and 232 feels upset, thinking he might have accidentally caused his friend's elimination. But, to their surprise, a staff member walks in to hand the winner (Player 232) a chocolate bar, and they both breathe a sigh of relief.

Leann and Trey saved till the fifth episode

As of Episode 5, Players 302 and 301 are still hanging in there, still in the game. But now, their relationship is about to face a big challenge. They're getting ready to play the Marbles game, where one player in a team of two is going to be eliminated.

While others in the Squid Game reality show are targeting strong opponents, it takes a bit of time for some to notice the mother and son duo, Players 302 and 301.

They've been sticking together like a team in the first five episodes of the Netflix reality show, and everyone is curious about how they'll navigate this tricky game.
