HOUSTON, TEXAS: 'Love Is Blind' Season 5 star Jared Pierce is apparently living his life following his break-up with fiancee Taylor Rue on Netflix's show and dating somebody, according to former co-star Izzy Zapata. However, her identity hasn't been revealed yet.
During 'Love is Blind' Season 5, Taylor and Pierce immediately connected in the pods and he proposed, making them the first couple of the season.
However, their relationship didn't prove to be as smooth sailing as they had expected.
It didn't survive their outing in Mexico when the couple met each other for the first time.
Jared, on his part, couldn't help but express his distaste for Taylor's use of makeup.
This observation brought to the forefront the several contradictions they had and their promises to stay together crumbled instantly when weighed against the reality of life.
As the hit Netflix show awaits its reunion episode, Jared has allegedly been dating another girl for the past year.
In the recent edition of the podcast 'The Viall Files' hosted by Nick Viall, fellow 'Love Is Blind' contestant and co-star Izzy Zapata pointed out that Jared has been seeing another girl for almost a year and has moved on from his previous engagement.
Izzy expressed hope that Jared's previous inability to properly express himself in social interactions must have taken a turn for the better since he is now making an effort to make his current relationship last.

Izzy explained, “He comes from a good spot. He has a good heart. I think he just needs to work on [the] presentation of how he delivers things, and I think that’s kind of a trend of Season 5. Our deliveries are poor.”
He added that self-expression is indeed difficult for people who are not in touch with their emotions and this might be the case for Jared and can help explain his strange behavior when he met Taylor for the first time in person in Mexico.
While Izzy and Jared hung out together at the tropical retreat, Jared spoke to Izzy about Taylor's appearance and the fact that he wasn't fond of the amount of makeup she put on.
Despite speaking cordially, the manner in which he put his point across to Taylor led to their eventual split.

According to Stylecaster, Taylor took offense at the way in which Jared criticized her for wearing makeup when they first met.
She clarified that it is indeed demeaning for her to be shut down for the way she looks.
Additionally, the 26-year-old stated her apprehension about moving in with Jared if they were to be married, remarking that he was not the right person to share a house with.
