She adopted a soft launch approach on her social media platforms, sharing partial glimpses of him, like images of his hands or back, without fully revealing his identity.
In one instance, she mentioned that he was TJ Dinch's roommate, offering limited details about him. Taylor went official on November 8 and shared a picture with Gaston, but his face wasn't fully visible.
This cautious sharing had sparked curiosity among fans, creating an air of mystery around Taylor's new beau.
As of then, Gaston was said to have been associated with Taylor at several events, like heading together with their team to BravoCon 2023. He was also often spotted with Taylor on her set but maintained full secrecy about his identity.
How did Taylor Green and Gaston meet?
Taylor met Gaston as he was TJ's roommate, not to be confused with his other roommate, Wilson, as many had speculated.
Sharing how they met, she said, "I am dating, so now I know what I want in life," Taylor told US Weekly and shared that his name was Gaston.
"They got it mixed up with his old roommate, who is one of [TJ’s] best friends, one of our really good friends," Taylor said of Gaston being mistaken for Wilson in the press.
She added, "I was like, ‘Unless he’s a closeted straight, I’m not dating Wilson.’ So, it’s TJ’s new roommate, and they actually started living together a while back. But that’s how I met him."
'Sothern Hospitality' cast did not approve of Taylor Green dating Gaston
At the BravoCon, the cast spilled the tea on Gaston to US Weekly, describing him as a "walking red flag."
The gossip escalated as they suggested that Taylor might have a specific type when it comes to men, pointing out the uncanny resemblance between Gaston and her ex, Shep Rose.
The conversation unfolded, painting Gaston as someone embodying traits reminiscent of Taylor's past romantic experiences.
"I want the best for her. I feel like she seems really happy and in a better place and I love Taylor,” Maddi, 26, said, while Joe called Taylor a “salt of the earth” girl and “an amazing person.”
