Dr Jason received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and drawing from the State University of New York (SUNY Binghamton) before earning his MD at the SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, where he also completed his general surgery residency.
After finishing his primary residency year at SUNY, he traveled to Los Angeles to train as a surgical oncology fellow at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr Jason was appointed director of the surgical oncology/breast clinic at Cedars-Sinai immediately upon the completion of his residency.
