NEW JERSEY: During Season 13 of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey', Danielle Cabral opened up about her strained relationship with her brother, Thomas DiPietro. Some of her castmates doubted her story and believed she was leaving out important details.
Danielle's mother also appeared on the show and confirmed the family drama, revealing that both of her kids are estranged.
"It breaks my heart. I'm your mother, I'm his mother. I raised you the best I can with lots of love. Obviously, he's in some type of pain, but [I wish he would] talk to me about it. And I'll respectfully apologize to [him] if I did anything to hurt him," she said.
During a confessional interview, Danielle Cabral said, "It's so funny, you hear all the time that Italian boys, they love and adore their mom. But he iced her out big time once he realized she was taking my side."
Danielle became emotional and teared up in a confessional, expressing her desire to reconcile with her brother despite the pain she had experienced. She stated that she would be willing to rebuild their relationship if he reached out to her, even though they have drifted apart and there has been a lot of hurt.
Danielle's mom further added, "Let's just hope and pray that the day comes that we can all be together as a family again. And maybe he will see the light."
