Who is Chris Murton? 'MasterChef: Generations' Season 14 Gen Z contestant slams Boomers' intelligence
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'MasterChef: Generations' Season 14 Gen Z contestant Christopher (Chris) J Murton aka Murt hails from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The 27-year-old aspiring chef works as a commercial real estate broker. However, Murt appeared like he hadn't been much of a fan of the Boomers.
He claimed that Boomers weren't as intelligent or internet savvy and he hoped they should have their life alerts on during this competition. Murt was seemingly self-obsessed and loved how he looked shirtless and said he had a great tan. He also claimed to be "the most unique person you're ever gonna meet."
Murt introduced himself as "I have a wild personality. I'm a country boy that lives in South Florida." He elaborated, "So pretty much I'm on a boat almost every weekend." Murt claimed that he came "into 'MasterChef' not because I'm at the peak performance of my cooking. I feel bad for the other people who I'm up against."
However, Murt criticized the Boomers and said, "I don't think they're as intelligent as we are when using the internet." He further noted, "That's not my problem. That's gonna work to my advantage." Murt also claimed, "And I don't know if the Boomers are gonna last the entire thing. So I hope they have their life alerts on, I'm gonna be honest."

'MasterChef: Generations' Season 14 contestant Murt might have praised his cooking skills but he started his auditions with a blunder. He burned the butter and lost a few important minutes of the competition as he just had 45 minutes to cook delicious food.
Murt got nervous and said, "Way to Pivot" but the live audience cheered him up. He managed to cook a Lobster Tempura Roll with Lobster Slaw Topping and Spicy Mayo. He was "sweating" and "shaking like a leaf" when he was giving the finishing touch to his dish.

Christopher J Murton aka Murt prepared a Lobster Tempura Roll and the judges were left he cooked the dish in 45 minutes. Gordon Ramsay complimented the presentation of the dish. The Fox show contestant was "pretty proud" of what he had put on the plate.
He elaborated on his tempura batter and said, "I think the thinner the tempura batter, the better it tastes." However, Gordon was not fully convinced by Murt's dish and criticized cooking lobster twice. Although Gordon later admitted that the lobster was cooked beautifully, he was not getting the crunch from the sushi roll.
Gordon elaborated that he was getting more crunch from the undercooked asparagus. He further noted that Murt took risks for the "dangerous cooking" and he didn't understand what he was putting together. Meanwhile, Joe Bastianich claimed to be feeling his energy and gave him a yes. Aarón Sánchez and Nick DiGiovanni were also impressed with Murt's dish and awarded him the night's final apron.
