Who is Carly Waddell dating? ‘The Bachelor’ alum reveals the identity of new mystery boyfriend on social media
NASHVILLE, TEXAS: Carly Waddell, who gained fame through her appearances on 'The Bachelor' Season 19, as well as on 'Bachelor in Paradise' Seasons 2 and 3, is officially off the dating market.
On March 14, 2024, the reality TV star took to her Instagram page and hard-launched her new mystery boyfriend Todd Allen Tressler.
"My TV was on mute in the middle of last year and this man came on being interviewed on the midday news about his business. I stopped in my tracks. It wasn’t just that I found him handsome. There was something about his smile and the way he carried himself, even when I couldn’t hear his voice (which is very deep and southern by the way)," she started by writing.
The 'Bachelor in Paradise' contestant' further added, "I walked by the tv again after bringing Charlie a snack and something told me to remember his name. For weeks I couldn’t stop thinking about this mystery man. I told all my friends who of course told me to reach out to him somehow, and I just couldn’t make myself do it. Out of fear I suppose. I finally looked him up, and after a few too many glasses of wine slid into his dms."
"He’s not a bachelor watcher, he’s not a big social media guy, he thought his friends were playing a trick on him. But in a few days he followed me back and like a really old video of Charlie being a goofball and I thought to myself “maybe this man really doesn’t mind that I have kids” which has always been a big fear of mine. I in turn liked something of his before saying “so are just gonna keep liking each others stuff?” He told me he was old school and would love to call me sometim," she continued.
Carly went on to say, "I asked him out in the most awkward voice text ever that I thought would never send and then it accidently did. He laughed and accepted. Picked me up texting me “your chariot awaits”, got out, hugged me and opened my door. I left the date telling my mom “I don’t know what is going to happen in the future, but I will forever measure every other date to what that just was because it was magic. It continues to be magic."
She concluded, "I have left him out of my social media presence while I made sure my kids loved him and while I made sure I did too. So here’s what I have been up to all year. Loving my loveable lawyer who also told me that I taught him what real love is, and he has done the same for me ❤️ @tat_two (I was gonna soft launch…but here we are…I always do things a little differently then I probably should 🤣)."
