PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Among the remarkable lineup of 15 new faces, we meet Andrew Stanton, who previously made his mark on 'Britain's Got Talent' as a semi-finalist. During his Semi-Final performance, Stanton astonished the audience by swallowing a light-up sword, placing wires in his nose, and using his eyes to pull a vehicle carrying all four judges. Now, he is ready to impress the judges once again on 'AGT'. Let's get to know him better.

Who is Andrew Stanton?

Andrew Stanton, a sword-swallower, showed off his incredible talent on the popular show 'Britain's Got Talent' and made it to the Semi-Finals. At the time of his audition, he was 42 years old and worked as a massage therapist. In the past, he also participated in other talent shows like 'The Gong Show' and 'America's Got Talent,' where he reached the Quarterfinals as part of the SwingShift Side Show. Stanton's daring feats didn't stop there. In 2012, he achieved a remarkable feat by breaking the Guinness World Record for passing the longest metal coil through his nose and out of his mouth, measuring an impressive 3.63 meters (11 feet and ten point nine inches). He accomplished this on the show 'Lo Show dei Record' in Rome, Italy. Continuing his pursuit of extraordinary records, in February 2014, Stanton pulled off another amazing feat on the same show. He broke the Guinness World Record for the heaviest weight pulled with his eye sockets, managing to pull an astonishing 2,413 kilograms (5,319.75 pounds).

Stanton's talent and determination also led him to compete on the first season of 'Go-Big Show' in 2021, where he reached the finale and secured the 3rd position. Unfortunately, he lost the final face-off to another talented performer, Tulga, who had previously appeared on 'Britain's Got Talent' and 'America's Got Talent' as well. In that same year, Stanton also participated in the sixteenth season of 'France's Got Talent,' but he was either eliminated or withdrew before reaching the Semi-Finals. In February 2023, Stanton made history by becoming the first person to set the Guinness World Record for lifting the heaviest weight with both eye sockets while swallowing a sword. He lifted an impressive weight of 58.80 kilograms (129.63 pounds) on the set of 'Lo Show dei Record' in Milan, Italy.

Andrew Stanton on 'AGT' Season 18

Andrew's performance on 'BGT' was broadcasted right before the 9 pm watershed, which led to complaints from several fans on social media. They believed that the act was not suitable for the show's time slot because young people might have been watching. Many viewers found the act absolutely horrifying and unsuitable for audiences of any age. It will be highly anticipated to see what Slaton will bring to the 'AGT' Season 18 stage with his audition.
