LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Netflix's steamy show 'Too Hot to Handle' is returning for season 5 with a new batch of attractive singletons and much drama. The latest season of the Netflix show will feature 10 single contestants who have trouble forming real connections.

The unaware contestants joined the cast thinking they are on a yacht for shooting a dating show called 'Match Abroad', and are excited to be physically intimate with each other. However, things will turn upside down when robot host Lana tells them that they cannot ever have any form of physical intimacy, and must develop a strong emotional connection to get the $200,000 grand prize. The prize money will be reduced anytime someone gets involved in any form of physical intimacy, and only the couple with the best bond will get all the prize money. Among the contestants is Alex Snell.

Who is Alex Snell?

Alex hails from Exeter, Devon but currently resides in London. He attended the Exminster Community Primary School, before joining the Stover School in Newton Abbot. Alex then joined Exeter College and later enrolled in the sports psychology program at Bournemouth University. Alex has lived and visited various locations abroad, while his family still resides in Exeter. Notably, Alex has played football in various countries and began modelling in his early 20s. Alex decided to start personal training after losing his job during lockdown. The trainer travelled to Mexico for his job, but the country was also shut down and he had to come back to his native country. However, Alex found an opportunity in the disaster as he started to give fitness training to his social media followers. The fitness expert encouraged people to stay on track with their fitness goals during England’s second national lockdown in 2020. Alex offered customizable workout plans for free and invited those who used his plans to donate to Devon Mind. Alex calls himself a 'modern-day Greek God' on Instagram. Alex is a professional personal trainer and often shares videos of him working out.

Alex Snell was unable to sleep during filming

Alex is all set to form a connection with other women in Netflix's 'Too Hot to Handle'. However, Alex wasn't able to sleep during the first two days of filming. While sharing the filming experience, Alex noted in the latest interview, "I can't give away too much about what happens on the show, but what I can say is it was quite a unique, crazy experience." Alex also confessed that he did not sleep for the first two days because of adrenalin, but then got used to all the cameras. Further in the interview, Alex revealed how he was approached by the streaming giant. He revealed that he was approached to appear on the show via Instagram. Alex further noted that the makers didn't tell him what the show was about, but just labelled it as a major television platform so he assumed it was going to be Netflix. The casting process took eight weeks, and he was asked to quarantine for two. Notably, Alex was meant to appear in season 4, but it was later revealed that it was actually season 5.
