Who is Adam Sanders? ‘Marshals’ guest star has a sweet connection to Taylor Sheridan’s ‘The Road’
A pleasant surprise awaits 'Marshals' fans as the 'Yellowstone' spinoff approaches the midway mark. Ahead of the premiere, it was confirmed that country music sensation Riley Green would appear on the show. Now, the latest sees the first winner of Taylor Sheridan’s 'The Road,' Adam Sanders, making an appearance. According to reports, Sanders will perform one of his songs in the episode on Sunday. The singer will be crooning his latest single, 'His to Mine,' in the episode, which is set to be released on Friday. In the image released by the network, he is seen at the bar where Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) and his Marshals usually hang out. Given that the bar is a common set piece, Sanders' integration appears seamless.
Earlier, Sanders teased his appearance on Instagram. "Not only is my new single, 'His to Mine,' coming out this Friday, which is a song I’ve literally teased on my socials for over a year now…Your boy is going to be featured in CBS’ Marshals this Sunday night," he said. "I cannot thank Marshals enough for having me a part of the filming. So a blast to go out to Utah and shoot for the show." He also added that his single reminded him of Brooks & Dunn and Mark Wills songs from the '90s, evoking nostalgia. Calling it his 'favorite era of music of all time', Sanders also revealed he watched some of the episodes of the spinoff. "It’s a really, really cool spinoff of the Yellowstone original plot," the singer said. "Really, for me, it’s just trying to build on this opportunity and try to get out and play as many shows as I can and also work on new music," he said. "I want to try to just continue to fan the flame that this [show] has started for all of us."
Titled 'Family Business', the next episode sees a federal judge and her family in the crosshairs of a car bomb, and the Marshals are tasked with protecting them. Murky family secrets come to light as the Marshals begin investigating why the family was targeted. At the time of writing, the show has already been renewed for Season 2 following a strong start and solid viewership numbers after just four episodes. New episodes of 'Marshals' air Sunday at 8/7c on CBS.
