Russell works as a firefighter in Miami.
According to The Knot, the couple first met during the senior year of their high school. In Guerdy and Russell's case, it wasn't love at first sight. The website reported Guerdy as saying, "I thought Russell was a cutie but didn't think, at first, that he was my type...boy, was I wrong!" Fast forward to six years the duo were not only dating but Guerdy also proposed to her. During a night time stroll on a beach, Russell fell on his one knee and proposed to the 'RHOM' star. The housewife readily accepted his proposal. A few years later, the couple got married at the ancient Spanish monastery of St. Bernard de Clairvaux in North Miami Beach. Since their dating days, Guerdy and Russell had set their heart on getting married in the pictresque monastery.
