LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 has come up with another set of astonishing performances. Once again, viewers will be stunned by singing, dancing, magical, and athletic talents. In the last week's episode, we saw Heidi Klum pressing the golden buzzer for Lavender Darcangelo, making everyone owner whether any contestants will bag the golden buzzer this week.

Competitors of 'AGT' Season 18 Episode 7 include a dance group made up of children and their parents, a magician from Japan with many faces, a cartoonist, and many others. The one who is about to bring tears into the judges', as well as the audience's eyes, are two mothers who bonded over a life-threatening story. As we wait for the release of the new episode, let us take a look at who these mothers are.

Who are Kim Scadlock and Holly Campbell?

Holly Campbell is an Alpine, New York native. She is married to Andy Cambell. Together, they had a son Jake. Sadly, the couple lost their child when he was just 11 weeks old. Their baby was rushed to Rochester hospital but he couldn't be saved. Being well aware of the pain of losing a child, Holly and her husband Andy decided to opt for organ donation to help keep another family from losing a child. Holly is a singer and, with her husband, she runs a group named Once Upon a Mattress ever since 2019.

On the other hand, Kim Schaalje Scadlock is a Muscatine, Iowa native. She completed her education at Southern Utah University and later in life got married to Nate Scadlock. They together have four children: two sons, and two daughters.

2 mothers united by 1 heart and a song

As Holly and her family were struggling with the death of their 11-week-old son Jake, Kim's family in Iowa was facing difficulty in receiving a heart transplant. In 2007, Holly decided to help Kim by donating Jake's heart to Kim's son. Referring to the same, Kim remembered Holly's life-saving donation to her son Beckham, saying in one of her posts, "Today would have been my son's heart donors' seventh Birthday. Happy Birthday, baby Jake! Wasn't he adorable? We love this little baby more than we have words to express and we're so grateful that the ten short weeks he was alive, were filled with smiles and love." She then added, "Thank you, Andy and Holly, for sharing a heart with our son that was already so full of happiness. I hope this Birthday will only be filled with happy memories of what a hero Jake became!"

The families met each other a few years after the heart transplant was successful. They discovered that along with the gift of heart, they were united over a song as well. Both sang 'For Good' for their sons. Holly said goodbye to Jake by singing it and Kim sang the same for her son Beckham after he received the new heart. They reunited at Golisano Children's Hospital as they shared their stories. This is the song they will be singing in honor of their sons on 'AGT'.
