'Temptation Island' Season 2 puts four couples through the loyalty test to determine if they will stay committed to their partners or give in to the temptations and find love elsewhere. Hosted by Mark L. Walberg, the Netflix series premiered on Friday with nine episodes. Four couples arrived at the tropical villa in Hawaii and were immediately separated. Over the next few weeks, they are given the opportunity to mingle with eligible singles of the opposite sex to see if they can find a better connection. At the end of Season 2, only one original couple left the island together, while the remaining three decided to split up and go their separate ways. Let's take a look at the couples and their relationship status at the end of the dating experiment.

Scarlett and Cole struggled with communication issues from the start. Scarlett's need for transparency clashed with Cole's tendency to avoid conflict by lying and hiding things. During her time on Netflix's dating show, Scarlett connected with the tempter Bradley, making her rethink her relationship with Cole. However, the final straw for her was when Cole admitted to reading her journal in secret. At the final bonfire, Cole chose to leave together with Scarlett, who decided to leave alone. She explained her decision by saying, "There’s no way things would be drastically different. We both deserve to feel safe." Hence, they broke up at the end of Season 2.

Mikey's flirtatious nature and his inability to share his feelings authentically lead Sydney to realize she deserves better. During the show, she develops a strong connection with Xzavier, who charms her with an acoustic guitar and by openly expressing his feelings. Sydney tells Xzavier at the final bonfire, "I genuinely have fallen in love with you," and they leave the island together. On the other hand, Mikey gets close to the temptresses Christelle, Jesenia, and India, even claiming he wants to 'shoot his shot' with India, but he doesn't get physical with anyone on the show. Mikey is heartbroken seeing Sydney move on with another guy, but he gains enough perspective to realize his mistakes and decides to leave the island alone.

Shyanne and Jack's rift only grows wider after they appear on the Netflix series. After Jack pursues Carter and Jesenia, Shyanne decides to enter Temptation Haven with Preston. Both began exploring other relationships and eventually realized that they are not meant for each other and should leave the island alone to focus on themselves. At the Final Bonfire, they mutually decide to break up.

Summit has some commitment issues, while Kaylee struggles with self-worth issues, keeping the couple stuck in a toxic cycle of breaking up and getting back together. Moreover, Summit's outgoing personality lies in contrast with Kaylee's reserved nature. The couple uses their separation to reflect on themselves and work on their individual issues, and it serves them well as they leave the island together at the end of Season 2. Not only that, but they also decide to move in together and get a dog, fulfilling Kaylee's dream.
