The romantic rite of passage is given an interfaith, cultural clash twist in writer Kenya Barris' debut feature film, which he co-wrote with Jonah Hill, who is also the film's actor.
'You People' has fantastic cast members including Jonah Hill, Lauren London, and Eddie Murphy, and is set to release on Netflix on January 27, 2023. In the movie, Ezra (Jonah Hill) and Amira (Laura London) delightfully negotiate the risky waters that connect passion and family.

Where was 'You People' filmed?
Filming for 'You People' 2023 took place in Los Angeles, California, and nearby locations, including the Skirball Cultural Center, Crenshaw Boulevard and Stocker, and Hollywood's fabled Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles. The production crew started shooting on October 20, 2021. Ezra Cohen and Akbar Mohammed, the two main actors in the film, can also be seen on Hollywood's Gowen Street.
