Where was 'Temptation Island' Season 3 filmed? Local residents protested against filming over Covid-19 fears
USA Network's popular reality show 'Temptation Island' is all set to make a comeback with Season 3. While the main focus of the show is on all the drama and sexual tension between the contestants as they try to decide about the future of their relationships, one can't miss the picturesque backdrop of Maui, Hawaii, where the show is filmed. Just like the first two seasons, even Season 3 was filmed in Maui.
Unlike the previous seasons, the filming crew couldn't just pack up the equipment and begin filming with the global pandemic. The producers and the filming crew had to take the tests and quarantine after arrival, following which they could finally begin filming. The entire show was filmed at the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort.

Before that, the Maui locals began protesting against the filming of the show because it could put the locals at risk. David Goldberg, president of BanijayStudions North America, the production company of the show said, "We’re not coming for fun but rather to work and will do so in a manner that has us taking extreme measures to not endanger anyone and leave no traces when we’re gone."
The entire 'Temptation Island' filming crew and cast took all the precautions necessary to ensure that everybody was safe.
'Temptation Island' follows the journey of how four couples in committed relationships will test when exploring other relations. The couples are introduced to several singles who are known as "temptations". The couples then have to take a break from each other and explore their attraction to the temptations on the island.
At the end of their stay, each of them makes a decision on whether they want to leave with their original partner, their new-found love with the temptation on the island or choose to leave as a single. The show is packed with a lot of drama to keep you hooked.
USA Network describes the show as, "In this social experiment, four couples at a crossroads in their relationships put their love to the test by giving "single life" a try. On the Hawaiian island of Maui, they'll take a break from each other while living in separate houses with sexy singles to discover if there is another partner with whom they are more compatible. In the end, will the couples leave together? Will they leave with one of the island's "tempters"? Or will they break up and go home alone? Whatever the outcome, there will be plenty of drama along the way!"
The four couples who are set to test out their relationships are Kristen Ramos and Julian Allen, Chelsea Orcutt and Thomas Gipson, Erica Washington and Kendal Kirkland and Erin Smith and Corey Sobczyk.
'Temptation Island' Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, February 16, at 10 pm ET/PT on USA Network.
