LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Entrepreneur Nina Farzin converted her personal struggle into a flourishing business called Oogiebear. Nina struggled to find a solution when her babies' noses were congested. The pharmacist and mom of three invented a tool that lets parents safely pick an infant's nose to allow them to breathe freely.

Sina and Nina pitched their booger-removal business called Oogiebear to the Sharks: Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, and Kevin O’Leary as well as the live audience. The husband-wife duo entered 'Shark Tank' Season 14 Episode 1 for $400,000 for a 5% ownership stake in their firm. However, Sina and Nina ended up getting a whopping deal from Barbara.

What happened during their time on 'Shark Tank'?

Nina and her husband Sina sought to impress Sharks into investing $400,000 for a 5% stake in their firm valled Oogiebear. During the segment, Nina shared her personal struggle with her youngest child who didn't sleep well due to breathing issues. So the entrepreneur took $22,000 from her savings, quit her full-time pharmacist job, and founded Potomac, Maryland-based Oogiebear. Nina further noted that since launching her booger-removal business in 2015, Oogiebear had made $15 million in revenue and she was on track to personally make $1 million annually.

Now, Nina wanted an investment from the Sharks to boost her brand's sales. Kevin offered the husband and wife duo $400,000 for a 10% stake in the brand Oogiebear. Lori then made a similar offer and asked to join Mark, who said he wanted 12% equity in the company. However, Barbara offered the same as Kevin did but she promised to give back half the equity if the company failed to reach its sales goals. Robert then also chimed in to join the deal and proposed to split the $400,000 investment amount evenly while saying he regretted joining Barbara's previous baby care investments. Nina then made a counteroffer and asked Barbara and Robert for a combined $600,000 instead. Interestingly, Barbara and Robert eventually accepted Nina and Sina's counteroffer. The investors also promised to give up half of that equity if Oogiebear doesn't hit $400 million in sales within two years.

Where is Oogiebear now and how is the company faring?

Nina and Sina's brand Oogiebear, which began with a nose-cleaning tool in 2015, has now expanded and introduced several amazing smart baby products. Now, Oogiebear serves the needs of newborns aged 0 to 24 months, with products ranging from snot cleaners to teething toothbrushes, nose balm to chest rub packages, and more. Additionally, the deal with Barbara and Robert helped Nina and Sina to drive more sales. Besides the Oogiebear website, the products are available to buy on Amazon, Buy Buy Baby, Target, Walmart, and Nordstrom. Notably, Oogiebear baby care products have an impressive 4.7-star rating from over thirty thousand reviews on Amazon. Oogiebear is seemingly flourishing and it will soon make the promised $400 million. Oogiebear's net worth is estimated at over $8 million.
