1. Bruce Mitchell, Season 1-9, 12-present
Based in Hammond, Louisiana, Bruce Mitchell is one of the most hardworking, strong, and determined alligator hunters. He is the oldest of five brothers and sisters. During alligator hunting season, he hunts for a full 30 days and processes his skins. He loves gunsmithing, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He has over 45.8k Instagram followers and he loves sharing updates on social media. Currently, he will be seen in 'Swamp People' Season 15.
2. Jacob Landry, Season 1-Present
He was born in the swamps of South Louisiana. He is the eldest son of the Landry family. He grew up hunting and working in the family Seafood Business. He loves to share his life on social media. He is the son of 'Swamp King' Troy Landry. He is more than a hunter, or fisherman as his exploits in acting would suggest. He is married to Lyndsi Landry and has children named Ridge and Kase.
Presently, he will be seen in 'Swamp People' Season 15.
3. Troy Landry, Season 1-Present
Known as the 'King of the Swamp', he is one of the most well-known and fearless alligator hunters in the bayou. He is the son of a fisherman and seafood distributor, Troy has gator hunting in his blood. Troy, along with his sons, Jacob and Chase and a host of family and friends, runs armada of boats each season to control the gator population.
In August 2022, a news portal claimed him to be 'dead', amid the rumors, his son Jacob took to social media and clarified that the rumors were fake and his father is recovering, he had his prostate removed over cancer.

4. William Willie Edward, Season 1-Present
An OG cast member of 'Swamp People'. He will be seen in Season 15 and wants his son to take charge and prove that he can stand on his two feet.
Willie was once bitten by a six-foot alligator when he was on a hunt with his father. He prefers to hunt alone.
Willie Edwards lost his brother Randy Edwards in September 2008 in a car crash.
5. Albert Knight, Season 1
He is a television personality known for his appearance in the History Channel reality series Swamp People. He appeared in the first season along with his two sons, Kentwood Knight and Anthony Knight. He grew up in the swamps of Louisiana with 13 siblings. He is not that active on social media.
After his stint in Season 1, he moved on to live a private life where does everything from hunting gators to building boats.
6. Anthony Knight, Season 1
He is the son of 'Albert Butch Knight and he worked alongside his father in the first season of 'Swamp People'. His skills and talent helped him earn a good name in the region.
7. Clint Landry, Season 1 and 3
He is a hired gun and alligator hunting partner of Troy Landry. Although they are not from the same family. In Season 2, Clint as could not hunt because of his work in the turtle farm, his position was taken by Lizz.
8. Joe LaFont, Seasons 1-3 and 6
He is an Alligator Hunter who used to typically hunt with his stepson Tommy. During Season 2, Joe and Tommy had a massive blowout and Joe hunted with a friend Timmy.
This 'Swamp Star' was booked for domestic abuse battery in Plaquemines Parish, he was accused of breaking his girlfriend's ribs in April 2019. He also had two more domestic abuse cases that were booked in Orange County in 2012. He was arrested and held on $1500 bond, as per reports but he declined such news.
9. Junior Edwards, Season 1-6, 12
He has been an Alligator Hunter for over 30 years and he typically hunts with his son Willie Edwards and friend Malcolm McQuiston
Junior Edwards was one of the many cast members fired in 2015 but is still hopeful of returning to the show. He was fired because of the new management team of Original Media. He took to social media, to explain the shadiness in the cast and that it might involve 'bribing'.
However, he is coming back in the fresh new season.
10. Kenwood Knight, Season 1
He accompanied his father Albert Knight and Anthony Knight, to hunt alligators in the swamp.
11. Malcom McQuiston, Season 1-3
A good friend of Junior Edwards, he is an excellent fisherman. He fishes crawfish, and catfish and even sells them during alligator season.
He is a commercial fisherman with nearly sixty years of experience.
12. T. Mike Kliebert, Season 1
He was raised among gators and growing up and is the son of Mike Kliebert. He was only a supporting cast for his father Mike Kliebert
In April 2018, T. Mike Kilbert was in the news for his special gender reveal party as he used an alligator to do so. He wanted to incorporate one because alligators are a huge part of their lives.
13. Randy Edwards, Season 1, 3, 6
Randy was a tough swamper and youngest son of Junior Edwards and a commercial fish hunter.
However, Randy, 35, died after crashing his car into a utility pole around 3 am in Iberville Parish on September 15, 2018.
14. Mike Kliebert, Season 1
He was raised among gators in his father's alligator and turtle farm founded around 50 years ago.
He looks after his 'Kliebert Farm' which has a natural approach of breeding gators in outdoor ponds. Some of the gators are more than 50 years old and up to 12 feet long.
He spends most of his time in building boats, repairing engines, and brewing wine.
15. Tommy Chauvin, Season 1-3, 6,8-9
Tommy Chauvin has a tattoo of a gator on his chest, which is quite visible. Born on September 5, 1978, he does all the talking with his hunting skills. He is the stepson of Joe LaFont. He accompanies his step dad to hunt gators.
16. Tyler (dog) Season 1-5
Tyler, an important four-legged cast member, Bruce Mitchell's pet dog passed away in 2014. Known as the 'Swamp Dog' he accompanied his owner to many gator huntings.
Bruce's wife Janet Mitchell revealed that Tyler had congestive heart failure.
