LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Voice' Season 25 Episode 8, titled 'The Battles Part 2' is all set to drop on March 19, 2024, at 9 pm ET exclusively on NBC.

The next phase of the singing competition, known as the battles, kicked off on March 18, 2024, Monday. During this round, contestants from each team went head-to-head in a vocal showdown, with their respective coaches ultimately choosing who would move forward in the competition.

For the third year in a row, the battles will not feature any guest advisors, with the artists receiving guidance and mentorship exclusively from their coaches.

Interestingly, losing artists will have the opportunity to continue their journey on the show through two different options. Firstly, they can be 'stolen' by another coach, who would then welcome them onto their own team.

Alternatively, they may receive a playoff pass from their coach, allowing them to remain a part of their original team and directly advance to the playoffs.

It's worth noting that the four coaches have the power to either offer a playoff pass to a losing artist or steal them from another coach during a battle.

However, if a coach decides to use their playoff pass for a particular artist, it automatically overrides any potential steals from other coaches.

What to expect from 'The Voice' Season 25 Episode 8?

In the eighth episode of  'The Voice' Season 25 titled 'The Battles Part 2', the coaches on the show have their artists compete in singing battles against each other. The coaches then have the difficult task of choosing which artist will move on to the next round.

Unlike previous seasons, this season will not feature any guest advisors for the battles, meaning that the artists will be getting guidance and mentorship exclusively from their coaches. This format has been in place for the third season in a row, adding an extra layer of pressure and intensity to the competition.

When an artist loses a battle on the show, there are two possible outcomes for them. They can either be "stolen" by another coach and become a new member of their team, or they can receive a playoff pass from their own coach, allowing them to stay on their original team and go directly to the playoffs.

Each of the four coaches has the option to either offer a playoff pass to their losing artist or steal another coach's losing artist. However, if a coach decides to use their playoff pass, it takes precedence over any potential steals.
