The Handmaid’s Tale’ is one of the most riveting programs on television right now and continues to enthrall viewers with amazing storylines. The ongoing season of Hulu’s dystopian drama is in that phase where June (Elisabeth Moss) and Serena are ready to do anything to accomplish what they want to and take their fight to a whole new level. Season 5 has been all about redemption for June. She killed her abuser and felt really great, but when she got to know that Serena is trying to take Gilead globally, she plans to make sure that the ugly society and people of Gilead don’t poison the other parts of the world.

At first, everyone thought that June won’t be able to do anything to Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) because her daughter is still in Gilead. However, June has made it clear that she’ll take her daughter away from that place by all means necessary. Apart from redemption, it has also been about dirty politics. The “men” of Gilead are finding it difficult that a woman is trying to interfere in their matters. After her husband’s death, Serena is trying to take part in every small thing that the government of Gilead intends to do and takes over the position of her husband, Fred Waterford. However, people sitting in the higher management are not letting her do the things that she wants to.

The ending of the last week’s made us believe that the “game is on” for June and her husband Lucas and they will bury Gilead six feet under the ground to make the world less stressful. Fans are now expecting the series to gather more steam and give moments that will keep them at the edge of their seats. So, let’s take a look at when will the upcoming episode of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ premiere on Hulu.

When will ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 5 Episode 5 premiere on Hulu?

Fortunately, there are no changes to the schedule of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ and it will follow the original plan to release the episodes every Wednesday. This means the sixth episode for the fifth season of ‘THT’ will be premiering exclusively on Hulu on Wednesday, October 12, at 12:01 am EST.

In Episode 5 of Season 5, we saw June and Lucas entering the dangerous territory of Gilead. They meet a Guardian there, who takes them to a secret hideout and tells them about their daughter, Hannah. However, after spending a night at the secret hideout, the Guardian helps them in getting to Canada by escorting them to the border, but the situation gets intense when the Guardian finds out that he has stepped on a rebel mine, but before he can react, the trap explodes, blowing off one of his legs.

The blast forces other guards to look out for June and Lucas and they managed to get a hold of the couple. They drag them off in different directions as they continue to call out each other’s names. Well, June seems to be in the grasp of Gilead again, but the scene doesn’t show if the guards were able to take them away from the woods. Maybe, they’ll get out of the grasp of those soldiers and fight them together.

It’s certainly going to be more and more intense as the show moves forward.
