LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the bustling kitchens of ‘MasterChef US’, whispers mingle with tantalizing aromas as excitement fills the air, all while the relentless tick of the clock reminds contestants that time is slipping away. Season 23 of 'MasterChef US' is set to premiere on May 29, 2024, exclusively on Fox network at 8 pm.

With last season giving us a glimpse into finger-licking delicacies and interesting mystery-box challenges, judges and fans are equally curious to be back at the kitchens and decide the next MasterChef. Who are the judges of ‘MasterChef US’ Season 23?

While the contestants remain unknown, this season will see the return of the same gang of judges, providing more critique and nuanced food descriptions than ever.

Gordon Ramsay

The famous hot-headed Gordon Ramsay is back for Season 23. The British celebrity chef who loves being on screen, is a great presenter and restaurateur. His writing skills are also commendable. His restaurant Gordon Ramsay was founded in 1987. He holds multiple awards and accolades to his name.

Graham Elliot

The American chef and restaurateur has been a prominent figure in the spotlight ever since his gastronomic ventures garnered acclaim as three-time nominees for the prestigious James Beard Award.

Joe Bastianich

Joe Bastianich is an author and hotelier. He owns thirty restaurants across four countries, all co-owned by him and his mother. The famous Los Angeles restaurant Osteria Mozza belong to them, and went for expansion in 2010.

Christina Tosi

The cookbook author and American chef is the CEO and co-founder of Milk Bar. She has been a part of various lists that deem her as one of the most successful and innovative women in the food and beverage industry. 



 

Aarón Sánchez

Aarón Sánchez has his roots from Mexico. He is not just an author, chef and restaurateur, but he is also a passionate philanthropist. He is the part owner of Mexican special restaurant Johnny Sánchez based in New Orleans.

What to expect from ‘MasterChef US’ Season 23?

Created by Franc Roddam, this season will see a face-off between four generations. Judges will give a single theme and make the Millennials, Gen Z, Gen X and Baby Boomers compete in a mystery box challenge.

There can be a three course meal, across any cuisine, substantiated by a single dominant ingredient or just one product. Only one wins the $250,000 cash prize and the title of America’s MasterChef.
