‘Love is Blind’ finally sets Season 10 release schedule and the location will leave you wanting more
When Netflix released the debut season of 'Love Is Blind' back on February 13, 2020, the hit dating-based reality television show was a novel entity. The social experiment from the streaming platform giant brought together numerous eligible bachelors within the famed pods. The rules of the game required participants to get to know each other and develop feelings for one another solely through interactions across a wall separating them in the pods. Once they chose their partners, they were allowed to meet each other in person, and the subsequent drama followed.
Cut to the present year, and 'Love Is Blind' is now all set to return for its landmark 10th season. The previously concluded Season 9, set in Denver, Colorado, made history by having none of the show's couples eventually tie the knot, and it is fair to say the social experiment failed the test of reality. However, the upcoming season seeks to make amends and has chosen a location the show has not explored.
US Weekly recently confirmed that Season 10 will take place in Ohio, with contestants pouring in from other parts of the Buckeye state, including Cincinnati and Columbus. This was attested to by casting director Donna Driscoll, who told The Columbus Dispatch in October 2024, "We haven't really done this in the Midwest, but more important, the host of our show, Nick Lachey, was raised in Cincinnati.”
Nick Lachey, who co-hosts the Netflix show along with his wife Vanessa Lachey, opened up about deciding the location in an August 2025 interview, "Every city has its own personality, I think that’s what’s great about the show, is that particular season, you take on the personality of that city and the people in that city. Minneapolis had a very different vibe from D.C., than was Charlotte, than was Atlanta. So, every season is different. There’s a lot of places we haven’t been yet that I think would be a lot of fun. You know, Portland would probably be a lot of fun. I think Austin would be great, (which is where) we shot Season 1 of The Ultimatum, and it’s a fantastic city. I think Austin would be great for the show."
Similarly, Vanessa had spilled the details about the show's future in another interview with CinemaBlend, where she stated, "Netflix has picked up Seasons 9 and 10, so we’re bringing you two more seasons after this one. Who knows? That’s a good idea. … But then, after 8, 9, and 10 would be three more seasons of more couples. So then we’re gonna be maybe more than, you never know. I love this idea." The upcoming season will follow a phased release schedule, with the first six episodes premiering on February 11. This will be followed by the next three episodes, releasing on February 18, and the next two episodes after that will drop on the streaming platform on February 25. Eventually, the season finale will air on March 4.
