CHENANGO COUNTY, NEW YORK: NBC's longest-running weekly American television TV series, 'Dateline NBC' Season 32 Episode 27 titled 'The Perfect Life', is scheduled to premiere on Friday, February 15 at 9 PM ET on NBC.

The upcoming episode will revisit the case of Remy Ramsaran and his wife Jennifer, who tragically died in 2012. This case was previously featured on Dateline NBC in an episode titled 'Secret Lives,' which aired on October 31, 2014.

Now, after almost a decade, Andrea Canning will delve into the case once again, uncovering new secrets and shedding light on any developments that have emerged since the initial airing.

The episode promises to provide fresh insights and information about the case, bringing a renewed perspective to the audience.

Dateline NBC shared the synopsis of the case, "Jennifer Ramsaran, a wife and mother of three, goes missing. After five days, her van is found with her blood in it. Then she's found in a snowpack. The series of lies and betrayals to get to that point were astounding."

Jennifer Ramsaran, a mother of three living in New Berlin, New York, with her husband Ganesh, faced a tragic turn of events on December 11, 2012.

She was described as a stay-at-home wife who managed the household took care of the children, and had a passion for gaming.

Her husband Remy, shared on 'Dateline' NBC, that she spent hours playing games on her mobile device and even made online friends, including someone named Rob from Britain who became particularly close to her.

On December 11, Jennifer left home in the morning to purchase a dress for her daughter's holiday concert in Syracuse but never returned.

Concerned about her disappearance, Ganesh contacted the authorities and utilized the Find My iPhone app to trace Jennifer's phone to a nearby area.

After some time, Jennifer's abandoned van was discovered, and sadly, two months later, her body was found along a desolate stretch of road.

Did ‘Dateline NBC’ convict Remy Ramsaran kill wife Jennifer?

In May 2013, Remy, Jennifer Ramsaran's husband, faced accusations of killing his wife Jennifer. The charges stemmed from an investigation that led to Remy being charged with the murder, and subsequently, on September 23, 2014, a jury found him guilty of murdering his wife.

According to police investigators, Ramsaran was accused of murder on the morning of December 11, 2012, allegedly driven by the motive of having an affair and a desire to collect her insurance money.

The prosecution argued that Remy murdered Jennifer while he was engaged in an extramarital affair with her best friend.

Despite the accusations, Remy consistently denied committing the murder. He admitted to having the affair but maintained his innocence regarding Jennifer's death.

Nevertheless, the jury's verdict declared him guilty of the charges. Consequently, Remy was sentenced to the maximum penalty of 25 years in prison for the murder of his wife, Jennifer.
