When will 'Bull' Season 5 Episode 7 air? Here's how the Benny Colon DA drama is set to unfold

Benny Colon (Freddy Rodriguez) might just be leaving TAC and the show, and fans are certainly not pleased about it. In Episode 2, Benny was asked to run for DA, and it seems as if Chunk was taking his place. Benny has been mentoring Chunk (Christopher Jackson), and in the latest episode, taught him how to drop the "bank shot" and to never be over-confident in court.

In the promos for the next episode, it seems as if Benny's DA drama will take the center-stage. Bull's wife Izzy (Yara Martinez) is not sure how this is going to pan out. It could all just crash and burn. So, will Benny make it as DA and leave the TAC? There's no synopsis as of yet, but the episode will air on Monday, January 26, at 10 pm.

In Episode 6, Benny tried helping Chunk on how to save a doctor from being sued for malpractice. Chunk is trying to help a doctor who is being sued for malpractice. At the moment, the doctor isn't looking so good as she is known for being a bit of a rebel and making decisions on her own terms, rather than caring about the welfare of her patients.

Chunk goes "rogue", as Bull puts it, and asks questions that he himself doesn't know the answer to. At first, it looks as if they've lost the case, but Benny notices something in the CCTV footage. The head doctor, who had assigned Kinsey to two patients, had gone to treat another patient, with less severe injuries. It turns out that she was his god-daughter.

Benny spotted their closeness and pointed this out to Chunk who brought it up in court. Chunk has a long way to go, still, but it seems as if he can step into Benny's shoes. Either way, it's a solid loss to TAC if Benny leaves.

Bull features Michael Weatherly as Dr Jason Bull in a drama inspired by the early career of Dr Phil McGraw, the founder of one of the most prolific trial-consulting firms of all time. Smart as a tick and charming, Bull combines psychology, human intuition and high-tech data to understand jurors, attorneys and witnesses.

'Bull' airs on CBS on Mondays at 10 pm.
