When will 'Alaskan Bush People' Season 13 return? Here's what you can expect from the Wolfpack next season
'Alaskan Bush People' has been on the air for six years and Discovery has featured 12 seasons of the show. The latest season recently concluded and the show left off with the Brown siblings walking around their property that was damaged in the aftermath of wildfires ensnaring Palmer Mountain. The episode saw the family trying to rescue their animals and salvage whatever is left of their home atop the mountain.
Even though they were successful with the rescue mission, the Wolfpack, as they're famously known as, couldn't do much about saving the abode that they had built themselves. Throughout all episodes of the recently concluded season, audiences saw the Wolfpack trying to build houses for members of the family on the property. They had a whole plan that they were trying to execute. All of that came crashing down with the fire.
The show has a bunch of loyal supporters who've tuned in season after season and showered love on the family. Season 12 ended and the question now remains as to when Season 13 will drop and what to expect when it does. To answer the first question, the show is yet to be renewed or canceled by Discovery. As of now, there are no announcements on that front from the network.
Over the years, the family has done a lot of extreme things and the latest season had no dearth of the same. Right from sandals being made out of dead rat skin to covering the rat in gravy before feeding cats on the farm and, not to forget, Gabe battling an ostrich in an enclosed space, the show has seen it all. However, these are the things that make fans come back to watch this show after all these years and so many seasons.
There are also a lot of controversies attached to the show — one related to a family member Matt Brown who has stopped appearing on the show after Season 7 stating that his mental health was being affected. Fans of the show have time and again questioned when he will make a return to the show.
In September 2020, Matt was accused of raping two women in 2018. The incident came to light after one of his victim Jenna Jurges opened up to The Sun about it. Jurges was once the personal assistant of the family. She recalled the "terrifying" two-hour incident that took place in a pool where he had ripped off her swimsuit. She said that she screamed at the reality star continuously to leave her.
She was eventually saved when Shelly Dawn Early, the then-family manager, pulled Matt by his hair. Just three days after this incident, Dawn revealed that she too was raped by Matt in the same place. Matt was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when this incident took place.
As of now, it's not determined as to what fans could expect from the show in Season 13 but after this incident, it's highly unlikely for Matt to return to the show which might be a disappointment for people who've been wanting to see him make an appearance on the show.
For loyalists who miss the show already, all episodes are available to stream on Discovery's website. For newer updates about the latest season, check this space in the near future.
