LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: When it comes to a movie or show franchise, especially the big ones, there’s one element that often gets a little confusing. We are talking about the timeline. While this is most often the case in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or DCEU, we cannot leave ‘Transformers’ behind. With ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ just around the corner, it is important to understand the order of events that lead up to the movie.

‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ is set to introduce new characters, villains, bigger threats, interesting subplots, and much more. With the stellar cast and backing of a well-known franchise, this movie is bound to be a box-office hit. When does ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ take place?

The events in ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ take place after ‘Bumblebee’ which was released in 2018. In addition to ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ being a standalone sequel to ‘Bumblebee,’ it also serves as a prequel to the 2007 ‘Transformers.’

‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ will take place seven years after the events in ‘Bumblebee’ taking the audience back to 1994. The upcoming movie will be the 7th installment of the ‘Transformers’ franchise and will revolve around Noah Diaz (Anthony Ramos), who gets caught in the crossfire between Autobots, Maximals, and Terrorcons, amongst others.
