Oscars 2026 turns up the heat as Chris Evans, Demi Moore, and more join the presenter list
It’s that time of the year again. The 98th Academy Awards are gearing up, and the latest presenter list just dropped. A fresh batch of A-listers will be walking onto that famous stage to hand over those prestigious golden statues. And yes, there’s some superhero energy in the mix. Among the newly announced presenters are Chris Evans and Javier Bardem, along with Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph, and rising talent Chase Infiniti. From Oscar winners and comedic heavyweights to Marvel stars, the Academy is clearly stacking the lineup with personalities who know how to command a room.
The announcement came straight from executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan, who confirmed the additions in an official press release. More names are expected in the coming weeks, because the Oscars love a slow reveal. It keeps us guessing and refreshing our feeds. Of course, hovering over all of this is the host himself, Conan O'Brien. He will be steering the ship for the evening, which could mean anything from clever jabs at the industry to one or two awkward bits that somehow turn into viral moments. You never really know with him, and that’s half the fun. And then there’s tradition. Previously revealed presenters include last year’s best-actor winners: Adrien Brody, Kieran Culkin, Mikey Madison, and Zoe Saldaña.
As custom dictates, they’ll return to pass the torch, handing the awards to the new winners in the category. The ceremony airs live on ABC and will also stream in real time on Hulu on Sunday, March 15. The show kicks off at 7 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. PT, but let’s be honest, the fashion parade begins earlier. The official red carpet broadcast starts at 6:30 p.m. ET, so if you love dramatic capes and iconic silhouettes, set your alarm. Furthermore, the 98th Oscars will take place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. That stage has seen tears, standing ovations, speeches cut off mid-sentence, and at least a handful of acceptance notes scribbled on the back of a napkin. It holds history in its walls.
Globally, the ceremony will air in more than 200 territories, placing one theater in Los Angeles at the center of a worldwide spotlight. Producers have promised more talent announcements in the coming weeks, so this list isn’t final. The Academy tends to sprinkle in a few last-minute surprises, just to keep things interesting, as half the fun is speculating who might walk out next. Another Marvel favorite? A music icon? A past Best Picture winner who hasn’t been seen on that stage in years? Place your bets.
