Wheein has written a heartfelt letter to fans where she talks about her future, leaving RBW, and her love for the group Mamamoo. Wheein wins fans all over again by addressing herself as 'Mamamoo's Wheein.' The songstress has not renewed her contract with RBW but will be participating in Mamamoo activities till December 2023.

On the handwritten letter for fans, the K-pop artist states, "I’m ready to leave RBW, an agency that is like my hometown where I spent ten years since I was a trainee crying, smiling, and slowly getting to where I am now, and move onto a new environment." Wheein, aka Jung Whee-in, debuted with Mamamoo as a vocalist in 2014 with their debut single 'Mr. Ambiguous' and EP 'Hello.' The 26-year-old soon found her solo footing in the music industry with her first solo digital single 'Easy,' following which came from the album, 'Roar'.

Wheein reveals her plan with Mamamoo

Wheein speaks openly about the worries of fans and her future plans with the K-pop act going forward. She admitted, "It’s the first time I’ve encountered something like this in my life, so it’s very unfamiliar and difficult, and I feel many different emotions." She added, "Thank you MooMoo for being with me for the brightest seven years of my youth. I’ll work harder so that I can spend happier days with MOOMOO and my members, and I’ll also participate in many activities and repay you with good music!"

The 'Goodbye' crooner assured fans writing, "All four members of MAMAMOO will always be with you. I will keep your countless words of support, concern, and encouragement in my heart and live a wonderful and brave life in the future." Wheein concluded, Please keep an eye on MAMAMOO and me as we soar higher! Thank you! I love you, MooMoo."

Wheein fans slam RBW

Wheein's heart-touching letter has made fans emotional as they shared that the K-pop singer is only leaving the company but Mamamoo is forever. "From the caption to the letter itself, Wheein was really emphasizing the fact that she's only leaving the company and not the group, that Mamamoo will always be all 4 of them. That is something we will never doubt, love," a fan gushed. Another fan quipped, "I can't believe Wheein basically said MAMAMOO is forever, RBW is not." A fan shared, "we still have 2 years with wheein but why does that letter sound like a final goodbye."
