What time does Apan Music Awards 2020 start? Here's why the grand event got delayed
Apan Music Awards 2020 is finally here but the much-awaited K-pop event has been delayed. The star-studded K-pop event with a grand lineup including Grammy-nominated BTS to rookie group Wei, popular K-pop soloist Kang Daniela and more will start a few hours late, officials have stated.
What time does Apan Music Awards start?
According to the new schedule, Apan Music Awards will start at 23 PM KST/ 9 AM EST. The Red Carpet event will start at reportedly 8 PM KST.

Why was the Apan Music Awards delayed?
Though there isn’t an official reason stated for the delay, the event can be delayed due to the fact that it will be aired globally with subtitles and due to maintenance reasons. Apan Star Awards which took place on January 23 was also delayed by 3 hours and the main event started at 11 PM KST.
Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated Apan Music Awards promises a glam-studded event with the best of K-pop stars uniting on the Apan Music Awards stage. While most of the winners' names have been announced beforehand, it doesn’t take away from watching the globally famed K-pop faves claiming their trophies.

Winner’s list
Among various categories, Kang Daniel snagged The Best Solo male both global and domestic along with winning Apan Top 10 Bonsang, Best Performance, and KT Seezn Star Award – Singer. Seventeen won the Best Group global male award while Blackpink won Best Group global female. Mamamoo’s Hwasa was awarded the best female solo artist global award and Blackpink bagged yet another award for best music video. BTS won the Best Group male domestic award.
