It's been a week since the rumors of wrestling superstar Andrade requesting his release from WWE surfaced. It wasn't too much of a surprise as Andrade has been away from television for months, and was reportedly miserable at WWE.
Andrade last appeared on RAW at WWE Draft time in October 2020 and was taken out by 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt in his last appearance. WWE signed Andrade in 2015 after his successful runs in Mexico and New Japan. Andrade leaves WWE as a one-time NXT Champion and the one-time WWE United States Champion. He last wrestled on the October 12 RAW Draft show, a loss to Angel Garza.
