What is 'One True Loves' about? Plot of romantic drama movie explained
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'One True Loves' is based on Taylor Jenkins Reid's 2016 novel with the same title. The upcoming romantic movie narrates the story of a woman who must decide between her husband who she believed was long dead and her fiance who healed her back again.
Andy Fickman, who also directed ‘Playing With Fire’, directed the movie with Taylor Jenkins Reid and Alex Jenkins Reid serving as the writers. Moreover, Willie Kutner, Fickman, Betsy Sullenger, Michael Jefferson, and Sarah Finn produced the movie with Taylor Jenkins Reid, Alex Jenkins Reid and Adam Beasley as the executive producers. CAA Media Finance has acquired the film’s North American distribution rights.

What is the plot of 'One True Loves'?
In the movie 'One True Loves', Emma Blair and Jesse, who were high school sweethearts, travel the world together and get married. However, on their first wedding anniversary, Jesse goes missing in a helicopter crash over the Pacific, and a devastated Emma decides to return to her hometown of Massachusetts in an attempt at putting her life back together.
Emma starts working at her parents’ bookstore and runs into an old friend Sam. Sparks fly between the two of them and they get engaged. Thereafter, Emma receives a call that her husband Jesse is alive and is coming home. With a husband and a fiance, Emma has to now figure out who she is and what she wants, while trying to protect the ones she loves. Despite the idea being laden with loss and heartache, it is also loaded with hilarious potential as we wonder exactly to what extent the guys would go to in trying to win or win back Emma's heart.
