Netflix has revealed that 'Love After Music,' a TV series based on the life of the famous Argentine musician, singer-songwriter, composer, and film director Fito Paez, is scheduled to premiere on April 26. Produced by Juan Pablo Kolodziej and Mariano Chihade from Mandarina Contenidos, the series will encompass three decades of Paez's life, depicting various significant moments including pain, loss, tragedy, triumphs, downfalls, indulgences, love affairs, and numerous musical compositions. The show will feature eight episodes and star Gaspar Offenhenden and Ivos Hochman as young and adult Paez, respectively.

The show chronicles the first three decades of the life of this legendary Argentine music icon, who is one of the most prominent rock stars in the Spanish language.

What is the plot of 'Love After Music'?

Fito Paez is a renowned musician who has been active in the music industry for more than three decades and is considered a trailblazer in the Latin American rock music scene. He achieved worldwide success with his album "El Amor Después Del Amor" in 1992, which became the best-selling rock album in Argentina's history. Paez has received numerous awards throughout his career, including one Grammy Award and 11 Latin Grammy Awards. In 2021, he was recognized for his outstanding contributions to the industry with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Latin Recording Academy.

Portraying Paez's formative years, the young musician will be played by Gaspar Offenhenden, while Iván Hochman will take the helm as the adult Paez, charting the artistic evolution and personal milestones of the celebrated singer. The series will also feature other Latin American rock luminaries like Charly García, Fabiana Cantilo, Luis Alberto Snetta, and Juan Carlos Baglietto, thereby giving audiences a fascinating glimpse into the rich tapestry of the Latin American rock music scene.
