LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The horror genre is no longer frightening because Netflix has added a touch of humor to it. The next Spanish Netflix Original horror comedy 'Phenomena' is directed by Carlos Therón and written by Marta Buchaca and Fernando Navarro. The film's production firm is Nadie Es Perfecto.

Because of the popularity of 'Money Heist', 'Elite', and 'Sky Rojo', Spanish-language movies and series have grown in popularity on Netflix. The movie stars Belen Rueda, Toni Acosta and Gracia Olayo in lead roles.

The narrative follows three middle-aged women who research paranormal incidents and are put to the test when their leader, Father Pilón, goes missing. The original Hepta Group served as inspiration. The film was reportedly shot in Madrid and Toledo.
