Started by controversial YouTuber Jake Paul on January 17, 2017, Team 10 has served as a talent management company and the name was eventually used for a Las Vegas residence that housed many social media stars. Even though the company is now no more Paul has now claimed that it was the first "content house" created and in no time, Twitterati trolled him for the statement.

"I create the first content house Then there are 500 content houses I start boxing Now every influencer is a boxer What’s next? Y’all gon get raided by the FBI on purpose?" Jake Paul tweeted on Sunday, November 15.

On April 27, 2018, Paul released the single Malibu with now-former 'Team 10' member Chad Tepper, along with the music video. On May 11, 2018, he released another single titled My Teachers, featuring now-former Team 10 members Sunny Malouf and Anthony Trujillo, along with the music video. Throughout the summer of 2018, Paul and his 'Team 10' went on a tour within the United States, performing songs. Back then 'Team 10' gained a reputation for having a revolving door since the list of members kept on changing on a regular basis. Ex-members, including Cole Carrigan, Alissa Violet and Chance Sutton, posted exposed clips on YouTube about the real drama behind the scenes with Jake Paul.

The social media handles for the 'Team 10' have been quiet since the fall of 2019, leading many to question if the group was over. But with several new influencers reportedly joining Team 10, Jake Paul's management group might not actually be done after all. Gradually, the Team 10 members all left one by one from the beginning of the year until the end. According to the YouTube Channel, the last video was uploaded back in 2019.

As soon as Paul's latest statement came to light, people started slamming him, as one Internet user stated facts and corrected Paul, saying, "First content house? Sidemen-Optic-FaZe Starting YT boxing Joe Weller - KSI Raided by FBI LionMaker." Another one wrote, "You didnt start any of these things. CoD Clan houses started content houses way before you, and KSI and Joe Weller were the ones who started the boxing trend, as for the raid, Lionmaker got raided before you as well."

Twitch streamer JC wrote, "w all due respect my guy O2L had the first content house. we were kickin it & shootin everyday in Encino before some of these cats were even in LA." Another one wrote, "1. The Sidemen house was the first content house. 2. No YouTuber started boxing because of you. It all started with the KSI vs. Weller fight"

YouTuber Jack Buckley said, "I will not tolerate the absolute disrespect to @joe_weller_ He started YT boxing, not you." Another one called him YouTube's Trump and wrote, "Jake is YouTubes Trump. He always thinks he did everything first and the best."
