BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Crystal Kung Minkoff's brother Jeffrey Kung made a comeback on 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' and viewers are now inquiring about his career. Following the December 3 episode in which Crystal is shown whining about her brother, many flocked to social media to ponder if he should truly be on his own and not be controlled by her.

A record deal was offered to Jeffery when he was studying abroad at Beijing's Peking University. Jeffrey explained on the Gaysian show that he got his major break in music by mistake.

Jeffrey went on to make his debut hip-hop album, receiving a Chinese Grammy for New Artist of the Year a year before graduating from the University of Michigan. He relocated to China after obtaining this prestigious prize and has been there for almost 20 years.

Jeffrey has released four additional albums in China since his debut. However, just two of his albums appear to be available in the United States: KUNG, which was put on Spotify in 2017, and another album from 2013.

Hit tracks by Jeffrey include "Real Life," "Dream Girl," "Running," and "Boss." Jeffrey has previously defined his musical approach as "all over the map," having written songs for genres such as hip-hop, rock, and rap.

The music video for Jeffrey's song "Slide" was also included on an episode of 'RHOBH' Season 11. Owing to his successful singing career, Jeffrey launched China's first hip-hop radio show, according to Bustle.

Crystal and Rob Minkoff were so taken with Jeffrey's music that they had him perform at their wedding celebration in 2007. However, with him back in the States and Crystal always whining, fans question whether he's attempting to capitalize on his sister's celebrity to advance his career.

On X, fans asked, "Is Crystal’s brother going to have a coming out story? The only reason why Andy would keep her boring whining ass." While another user chimed in, "Crystal, GIRL. We respectfully do not give a fuck about your brother. My gosh I’ve had it!!"

One user suggested, "Yes, Crystal, let your brother be. He's not your kid, and he will make decisions that are right for him. He looks like he can take care of himself." A fourth user begged, "Oh dear God… pleeeease!! I can’t make myself listen to any more of this boring relationship between Crystal & her brother. We don’t even know him. We don’t need ANOTHER franchise with ANOTHER sibling/family rivalry." 

One user further tweeted, "Crystal for SURE needs to let her brother live his life the way HE wants to and back off! She's NOT his MOTHER!" Another added, "Rob pays for Crystal’s entire family financially. She uses Rob’s money to control her brother. Shame on her brother for relying on women to pay for his adult life. He needs to get a real job and stop crying poor me."

RHOBH's Crystal Kung Minkoff sued after car accident involving Jeffrey Kung

It was reported in March 2023 that 'RHOBH' star Crystal is being sued, along with her filmmaker husband and her brother, for allegedly causing a vehicle accident. Candice Shahandeh-Rad says she was stopped on an off-ramp of an L.A. highway in November 2022 in her Audi when she was "suddenly and violently" rear-ended, forcing her to collide with the car in front of her, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.

Crystal's brother, Jeffrey, was driving at the time of the incident, according to the doctors. Candice alleges Jeffrey exited the Mercedes-Benz and "admitted he was distracted," though the complaint does not specify why or how.

Although neither Crystal nor her husband Rob were in the Benz, the plaintiff claims they own the vehicle and/or employ her brother as a driver.

Candice claims she was injured in the incident, and her car was also damaged. TMZ obtained photos of what they believe to be the aftermath of the crash, which show the destroyed front end of the Mercedes.

She is suing all three of them for pain and suffering, worry, and loss of pleasure in life as a result of the accident.

Is 'RHOBH' star Jeffrey Kung single?

Jeffrey had intended to marry Vivi Tam in Shanghai on March 28, 2020, however, the wedding had to be postponed owing to COVID. Jeffrey noted on the couple's Zola website that they met on a "serendipitous" journey from Las Vegas to Los Angeles in 2016.

On their wedding day, Jeffrey commented on Facebook that Mother Nature had presented them with the greatest challenge of their lives.

However, recent posts suggest, Jeffrey has since then split from Vivi and is now dating Eunice Jaymie Tan.
